The Venue
The University of Nottingham campus has been re-selected for its excellent facilities, the amount of accommodation on site and the central location between our various business sites which means that all employees can leave after work on Friday in time to register.
If you are missing work at any time over this weekend it must be agreed with your manager and taken as annual leave.
Bed and Breakfast accommodation will be available on site in the University Halls. This will be single occupancy with shared bathrooms. Accommodation will be allocated on arrival.
Note: There are two Universities in Nottingham, with several campuses - ensure you arrive at the right location!
All the activities for the games are located in the same place at the same campus - The University Park (which also houses the East Midlands Conference Facility).
As in previous years there will be a Games Hub. This is a large DuoSpan marquee situated on the grass by the main sports hall. It will be clearly sign posted from the West Entrance of the University.
There is ample free parking at University Park and at each of the sports locations - cars are left at their owners’ risk. Once you have arrived on site, all the sports and activities can be reached on foot and they will be signposted. You will also be given a map of the campus on arrival. You can also download a copy of the map here.

Transport
Coach transport has been arranged at most major sites at approximately 4.15pm on the Friday and departing The University of Nottingham around 10.00am on the Sunday (details will be avilable nearer the time).
If you want to use the transport provided by RWE npower you must indicate this on your entry form to allow time for us to order enough coaches.
Anyone contacting Zoe Eccleston after 1 August cannot be guaranteed a place on a coach, but all spare seats can be filled.
Please note: As travel is being provided by RWE npower you will not be able to claim travel expenses should you choose to make your own way there. If you have any questions regarding transport or the RWE npower Games please email Zoe Eccleston.
Accommodation
The accommodation is in basic single rooms with shared facilities, in the University Halls of Residence. Sheets, pillows and bedding will be provided, but please bring your own towels and toiletries. Rooms will be allocated on arrival, but all are close to one another. Keys are to be collected and returned to the individual receptions.
