Arrival
Registration will begin on Friday 3 September between 6.00pm and 9.00pm. On arrival at the University, please go directly to your designated Hall (details to be provided before the event) where you can register for the Games (not to the Games Hub as in previous years), obtain your wristband and collect your room key. You will be responsible for the safekeeping of your own key and asked to sign for it on collection.
Whilst registering, you should collect your Games t-shirt (in exchange for a minimum donation of £5 to our chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support).
If you are unable to register on the Friday night there will be limited registration available on Saturday morning between 0900 – 0930 in the Games Hub by prior arrangement. Anyone wanting to use this facility should let Zoe Eccleston know beforehand.
Once your wristband has been fixed at registration you must keep this on throughout the weekend, as it will also allow you entrance to the RWE npower party on Saturday night. We will be operating a 'No wristband - No entry' policy at the door.
Note: Your company photo ID badge is essential for registration - if you do not have your ID pass we will not be able to register you and you will be unable to take part, so don't forget! Anyone, for any legitimate reason, without a company ID pass must contact Zoe Eccleston before the event.
Please do not arrive earlier than 6.00pm as neither registration nor rooms will be available.
After registration, there will be many opportunities to socialise back at the Games Hub. The University pool will also be open between 1730 - 2030. Just show your Games wristband to gain entry.
Start times for all events will be posted in the Games Hub on Friday evening - please ensure you double-check these prior to Saturday morning and arrive in plenty of time for your event.

Timings
Schedules for each event will be posted at the Games Hub throughout the weekend. Results as they come in during the day will also be posted here.
All the sports will run concurrently across the day, with most of the finals happening between 1600 - 1630. Where possible we will stagger the finals to allow you to support other team members. The locations of each event will be clearly marked on the Campus map. There will be additional copies of this available at the Games Hub and during registration at the Halls of Residence.
After Sport activities
Back by popular demand, the Tug of War will take place outside the Games Hub.
All the sports are due to finish by 5.00pm when you can choose between:
- A swim at the University pool - open to all athletes (just show your Games wristband)
- Compete in or watch the Tug of War by the Games Hub
- Compete in or watch a running relay race
Awards Ceremony & Party
At 7.45pm all individual medal winners will have already been identified and asked to meet in the Games Hub to receive their awards at the start of the evening ceremony.
All athletes are requested to assemble in The Games Hub at 8.00pm to see if your team or site has won one of the many fantastic trophies sponsored by different areas of the business - and they are not all for sporting prowess so don't miss out! After the awards ceremony, the party will begin.
Sunday Morning
Breakfast will be served in the halls of residence from 0800 – 0900. The Games will close at 9.30am when you will all need to have vacated your rooms and returned your key to reception at your hall of residence. (All keys carry a deposit so please be sure not to lose yours, as this is your responsibility!)
